Getting started with a business online is done in 4 steps.

Introduction: Embarking on the journey of building a business online is an exciting endeavor.

With the right roadmap, you can navigate the digital landscape with confidence and clarity.

In this comprehensive guide, we’ll walk you through the four essential steps to kickstart your online business journey.

Now, you may have heard this all before, but I can assure you, there is a reason for the repetition… because it works.

The difference between all the others and myself, is that I am willing to take a deep dive into every step with you, in order to provide crystal clear clarity!

So let’s begin with the 4 Steps:

(1) Choosing a Niche (the direction for your business)

Your niche is the compass that guides your business’s direction. It’s crucial to select a niche that aligns with your interests, expertise, and market demand.

Take the time to research and identify a niche where you can provide unique value and meet the needs of your target audience.

Make sure that whatever you choose, you are passionate about it! After all, it is your business.

(2) Building a Website (the foundation for your business)

Your website serves as the foundation of your online presence. It’s your storefront in the digital world, where potential customers can learn about your products or services.

Building a user-friendly, visually appealing website is essential for establishing credibility and attracting visitors.

Your website will house all the information you need for your business, and provides a place for your traffic to come to, hang out, and be entertained.

(3) Getting Traffic

Traffic is the lifeblood of any online business and can be driven in many ways.

While there are various methods to drive traffic to your website, ranking in Google should be a top priority.

By optimizing your website for search engines and creating high-quality, relevant content, you can increase your visibility and attract organic traffic over time. Also note, that there are many ways to rank.

Plus, there are many different pieces of content that you can use to add to your website.

(4) Make money

Ultimately, the goal of your online business is to generate revenue.

    1. Thank you so much! Imperfect action is one of my favorite key phrases.  It was a mentor of mine who brought this to my attention.

      I was always “re-starting” because I thought I had to be perfect with everything I did, every I put out there into the online universe.  Now, after allowing myself to get used to just letting it get done first.. I find that a lot more gets done and it ends up being pretty good.
